We are pleased to announce two significant appointments that will further strengthen Veolia Finland's commitment to safety, sustainability, and innovation in the biofuels and green chemicals sector, aligning with our global GreenUp strategy. Both appointees will join the Finnish Management Team, reinforcing our leadership structure.

Henna Haverinen appointed as Head of QHSE & Sustainability

Veolia Finland is proud to announce the appointment of Henna Haverinen as the new Head of QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) & Sustainability. In this crucial role, Henna will lead a team of experts dedicated to helping Veolia Finland achieve its zero accident targets and meet its ambitious sustainability goals, in line with our GreenUp strategy.

Henna joined Veolia in Kilpilahti in 2016 as a QHSE expert. Her promotion to this leadership position is a testament to her dedication, expertise, and alignment with Veolia's core values and our GreenUp initiatives. Under Henna's guidance, the QHSE & Sustainability team will work closely with all departments to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility across our operations.

Janne Rantala appointed as Vice President Biofuels and Green Chemicals

We are also excited to announce the appointment of Janne Rantala as our new Vice President of Biofuels and Green Chemicals. In this pivotal role, Janne will spearhead Veolia Finland's efforts in the rapidly evolving biofuels and biochemicals sector, contributing significantly to our GreenUp objectives.

While Janne will focus on overseeing the biomethanol plant in Äänekoski, his responsibilities extend far beyond this single initiative.
